Sausalito City Council

Three candidates are running for Sausalito City Council in the November 4, 2014 election, including Jill Hoffman, Jonathan Leone, and Herb Weiner. Please view their backgrounds and Jill Hoffman’s interview below. Jonathan Leone and Herb Weiner declined to participate.

The Sausalito City Council is the community’s legislative body consisting of five members including the mayor, vice mayor, and three council members. They are elected to staggered four year terms to maintain a measure of continuity from one Council to the next.

Achieving and maintaining fiscal sustainability, ensuring effective and efficient municipal services, improving and maintaining infrastructure, as well as preserving Sausalito’s unique character are the goals set by the Council.
